Pat Saul Scholarship
Pat Saul was a founding member of the Board of Directors of Success Beyond Limits. As a lifelong educator, Pat knew well the challenges young people, particularly first-generation students, face when navigating post-secondary education. Her entire career was founded on the belief that a community support system working in partnership with schools could positively impact young people and facilitate academic success.
This scholarship, created in tribute to Pat’s unwavering commitment to student success, will assist students registered in a post-secondary program to cover educational expenses such as tuition and fees, housing, food, books, supplies and transportation. The Pat Saul Scholarship was created through the generosity of Pat Saul’s friends, colleagues and family as well as SBL’s devoted donors.
This scholarship, created in tribute to Pat’s unwavering commitment to student success, will assist students registered in a post-secondary program to cover educational expenses such as tuition and fees, housing, food, books, supplies and transportation.
The scholarship will be awarded annually to a recipient who embodies community leadership and demonstrates financial need. The value of the Pat Saul Scholarship is $1,000.

Inaugural Recipient
Ajoke Olaosebikan is enrolled in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies as an undergraduate student majoring in English with a minor in Biology at York University. Her leadership experience has set a positive example for her peers over the past 8 years at SBL. This includes leading multiple community projects providing mentorship to young people. Ajoke is a regular and dedicated member of our Programs Committee and has provided valuable input for SBL’s strategic plan. She is also a program participant of the Jane Finch Social Innovation Hub and is always looking for ways to stay connected throughout her post-secondary journey. Ajoke is passionate about her community and aspires to become an educator. She has received $1,000 from this scholarship towards supporting her education goals.

Teliyah Grant: Success Beyond Limits (SBL) is proud to announce that the 2025 Pat Saul Scholarship has been awarded to Teliyah Grant, a graduate of Westview Centennial Secondary School. Teliyah has been part of the SBL family for five years, beginning as a mentee and eventually becoming a mentor supporting younger students. She also served as the Secretary of Westview’s Student Council, helping to organize school events and promote student engagement, all while maintaining honour roll standing. This past September, Teliyah began her post-secondary journey at Humber College, studying Early Childhood Education. Hear about her educational journey directly from her!
